Bag of Chips

So you think you're all that and a bag of chips? So do we!

Preview: UFC 160 – Velasquez vs. Silva 2

As Bruce Buffer would say, IIIIIIIIIIIT'S TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME! The UFC has really stacked the deck on many of their pay per view cards this year, with this card being no exception. I think any time there is a title fight happening, fans are going to pony up the dough to see it, no matter who's involved.

Classic TV Moms

I was hoping to have this piece done in time for Mother's Day and obviously that didn't happen. But as they say, it's better late than never. It should be no secret by now that I'm a huge fan of sitcoms; especially older ones. With that said, I'd like to take you back to a time when sitcoms were actually...well...funny. I'll admit that some of the shows today have me cracking up from time to time, but most of them are nowhere near the level that they were when I was a kid.

Round 2 Predictions

Well I was 5-3 in the 1st Round. Not bad but hope to do better here in the 2nd Round.  1st Round provided some great hockey.  Hope the 2nd Round is just as good. So without further delay here are my predictions (1) Pittsburgh vs (7) Ottawa: This should be  [ Read More ]

WWE Extreme Rules predictions

Has it really been six weeks between pay per views? It doesn't feel like it. Perhaps it might be due to the fact that the build for this one has been lackluster. I would say that this company needs to eliminate all themed pay per views and just focus on building up the top matches on these cards. Gimmicks aren't going to mean anything if there is no rhyme or reason for it.

For those of you who don't know, I write for the Slam! Wrestling website, and one of the major perks of the job is that I get to cover events like this; sometimes, it doesn't even feel like a job. Rather than just go through basic results, I thought it would be best to go through some of the events of my day and just share some of my personal opinions.

Western Conference Playoff Predictions

It’s that time of the year again which it is the best 2 months of the season & in my view the hardest trophy to in all of pro sports.  Whatever happened in the regular season means nothing now as this is where it really matters now where upsets can  [ Read More ]

Preview: UFC 159 – Jones vs. Sonnen

Is it that time of the month already? It really seems like it's been ages since the last UFC pay per view, and although I don't expect this card to be nearly as enjoyable as the one we got for free last week, I can almost guarantee that no matter what happens here, it will have people talking at the water coolers the next day.

The Three Count Book Review

Figured I would do something a little different from my usual blogs.  I recently brought this book by former WWE ref  Jimmy Korderas which I had to order it through Chapters which it took a week for it to come in.  Reading is one of my hobbies which I will  [ Read More ]
